Energy inefficiency is most immediately felt in the air quality of our community.

Pollutants can cause shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, and is especially dangerous to the elderly, young children, asthmatics and anyone with respiratory illnesses. Smog depletes the ozone layer, allowing more harmful ultraviolet rays into the air and increasing the risks of skin cancer. The American Lung Association reports that over 66,000 people in Oklahoma County alone may be susceptible to effects of air pollution. We're all in this together and together we can grow our square of clean air!
